The statue shows the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary and Joseph) in the Flight into Egypt. Mary is holding Jesus while seated upon a donkey and Joseph is standing alongside. The beautiful wooden Holy Family statue is hand carved in great detail from the clothing and facial expressions of the Holy Family to the rocky terrain of the Holy Land. Underneath the statue is the "Made in Bethlehem" seal of authenticity.
