Our contemporary Nativity sets all all hand carved from prunings of Holy Land olive trees. By using prunings to carve our faceless (contemporary) Nativity sets we are able to have a renewable natural resource. Each of our modern Nativity sets are unique, being hand carved and with each piece of the naturally beautiful Holy Land olive wood having its own lovely character.

We have tried to offer as much variety with our contemporary olive wood Nativity scenes as we could. With some of these modern Nativity sets we have placed candle holders and other contemporary manger scenes have music boxes. We hope that we have been able to provide the contemporary (faceless) Nativity sets that you, our customers, desire.

The olive wood carving factory of Jeries Facouseh (Olivart), where all of our contemporary Nativity scene sets are hand carved, is located on Manger Street in Bethlehem about a 10 minute walk from the site where the Lord jesus was born. The Holy land olive wood used to carve these contemporary (faceless) Nativity sets is from the Galilee region of Israel, where the Lord spent much of His earthly life.
